It is an interesting problem. I scanned the picture at 600 dpi, and then ran the picture into AUTOCAD. It looked crappy as it does on my web site, but if I then saved the picture and looked at it with ADOBE Photoshop it was fine.

I loaded the picture onto the web site and it looks like AUTOCAD when I click on thelink, but if I copy the link and open it in IE directly it is the nice photshop image.

Yes I tried JPG. Worse.

I think I will get ED to take a photo of it and try that, his camera takes real nice shots.

Distances: If you read the paper on SW in the last MM you can see the troubl eof using AR's maps. But it is fun, I have adopted a procedure of taking the written word first, then the small scale plans which show details and then compare them to the maps. The main map needs to be redrawn if we want a scale plan.

Do we want a scale plan?
