Objective 2 funds are for the economic use of renewable energy i.e. wind regeneration plants. Around £94m of Objective 2 European Regional Development Fund and £9m European Social Fund has been allocated to specific targeted areas of the East of England for the Programme period 2005 to 2009. The Programme is divided into two parts:
The Core Programme Area
Areas eligible for Objective 2 ERDF and ESF support from 2005 to 2009;
East of England Objective 2 Programme
“Proposals for 53 land based wind generators” Area 1:

“Proposals for 42 land based wind generators” Area 2:

This is unspeakable. Stone Point is Flint Island... and is, in any case, a nature reserve, because of the numbers of seabirds breeding there - something that we yachtsmen have always respected.
