Roman roads are found well north of Hadrian's Wall. A good example is Between Muthil and Crieff in Perthshire. Go to Ordnance survey get a map:

Ordnance Survey Getamap Service

then enter grid NN862183 for this road and a little further south at NN869139 for more of the road and a signal station. These are well north of the Antonine Wall never mind Hadrian's. They were a resourceful lot!
