Can't find an online report to link to, but it was on the BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire regional TV news tonight that Alan Hinkes, who is attempting to become the first Briton to climb all 14 mountains in the world over 8000m high, has completed his 13th peak (despite encountering the bodies of two previous climbers on the way) and now has only Kanchejunga still to go. He has attempted Kanchenjunga twice before but gave up, I think it said for health reasons.
