I don't think that there is any building still in existence that exactly matches the North Pole. Some TARS did do some dowsing in a park at the north end of Windermere and claimed to have located the foundations of a reported building that strongly resembled the North Pole. Others have suggested that it is based on the tower room at Brantwood, Ruskin's house on Coniston. You can see it on the left in this picture.
