True Peter, Secret Water is much the same I think more to do with neglect rather than design. Unfortunately, Walton on the Naze is best avoided - what was once a quaint seaside town that offered an alternative to the quiet Frinton on Sea is now just a seedy run down place. Things are made worse by inappropriate attempts to 'improve' it.

As for Hardyment books Joel, well book - Captain Flint's Trunk, I'm afraid, as most of us know you have either to be very lucky in a second-hand bookshop or have a lot of money! Can't her publishers be persuaded to do a reprint?
