Quite so; I should have made that clear.

From memory, there is a public footpath (or, at least, I have walked it) from Walton, starting either at Bedwell's boatyard at the head of Foundry Creek or from Titchmarsh Marina, along the sea wall as far as the Wade.

It is also possible to land at the staithe at the head of Goblin Creek and walk to the Ship - but beware as the bottom is very foul, with stakes and this is no place to leave a delicate dinghy over Low Water!
