Struggling with four suitcases to get onto the tube. It was difficult I was afraid I would get left behind.

Funny enough when were off the tube and going up one of the tube employees offered to help up the stairs, I politely declined and was immediately sorry as I had to post Charlotte at the top and trudge back and forth - but we made it and the station master who was wonderful showed us how to get to our hotel and then I slept for a few hours. Safe in the arms of Jesus as they say.

Interestingly in Texas they tend to be polite but help a lot more. Not as much reserve. But they also like to stick needles into poor trash folks (to use a southern expression) makes them feel safer.

John.
