In some other juvenile book-collecting circles I have read
about the availability of Reproduction DJ's, also known as
Laser DJ's. Due to the difficulty in finding DJ's on old books
-- especially those "loved to bits" by us in our youth --
some collectors have made available Laser DJ's. This is where
they scan an intact DJ, and then print Colour-Laser copies.
The intent is that people who can not find (or afford) copies
of their favourate book with DJ's, can still at least have a
reproduction of the DJ.
Does anyone know of any sources for reproduction DJ's for
the S&A series?
(I confess that I am ignorant of what legal/copyright issues
this might cover. My layperson's view is that if the book
was originally sold with a DJ, then it should be entitled to one)
