Hi, I had a question about The Naze. At the west end of the SW map there is a 'Native Settlement' marked. In the story, it is stated that there are some cottages at this spot with stones marked 'Removed from London Bridge'. This intrigued me, so when I was in the area last fall, I hiked over to see this. However the whole area is now marked 'No Trespassing' . I stayed on the marked public access trails, but did not see anything. Does anyone know if these cottages still exist? Also, do any of you local history experts happen to know how stones from London Bridge ended up in an Essex backwater? Rather obscure, I know, but if anyone knows it would be this group, I would think. Thanks for your attention.
