I've just been listening to this via the BBC's listen again service (follow the link and look for 'Adventures in Poetry') and very interesting it was too. Somehow I can't help wondering how Swallowdale would have progressed if the Amazons had treated the Great Aunt to Spike Milligan's "minimalist" version!
