We're having quite Crab Islandish weather in England just now. Two days of torrential rain, some places getting two months' normal rainfall in 24 hours, nearly black skies, record high night-time temperatures in many places. This day last year it was constant sunshine with record high daytime temperatures - 100F exceeded for the first time in the country.
