Alex is 9.7 years old. He is not the brightest boy but he does read AR and is currently 2/3 of the way through Potter no.4. His spelling and syntax are not nearly as good as George's. Here is a specimen of Alex's current style; this is a posting to a grown up (sailing) bulletin board - the subject is mud.
