Its funny how people's tastes differ, I like Great Northern? a lot, not as much as Swallowdale but I enjoy it. I am also fond of Peter Duck which a lot of people seem to mislike because of its somewhat fantastic nature. It was the first I read which masy affect my views.
The ones I tend to like less than the others are the Norfolk duo of Coot Club and Big Six, but I still re-read them occasionally, just not as often as the others.
