I think the "colourings-in" in the Japanese editions are brilliant - rather in the tradition of the Japanese woodblock print, in fact!
The only one I am unsure about is WDMTGTS, because I know Pin Mill Hard well, and the hard is muddy grey, not sandy yellow, whilst the River Orwell is a rather similar hue, rather than Mediterranean blue!
