: This guy has written lots of short stories for children, in a genre he calls "contemporary fantasy". Titles usually have "un" in them: Unreal, Unbelievable, uncanny etc. His web site has a couple of essays by the author on writing for reluctant readers, with views I am sure AR would agree with.
