Re the TV serial John Macnab, it is mentioned in “Serials on British Television 1950-1984” by Ellen Baskin (1996), with several other serials of John Buchan’s books; Huntingtower twice, and no mention of Thames for John Macnab, just BBC1:

The Three Hostages BBC 1952, 6 episodes (set after WWII, not WWI)
Huntingtower BBC 1957, 6 episodes
Witchwood BBC2 1964, 4 episodes
John Macnab BBC1 1976, 3 episodes
Huntingtower BBC1 1978, 6 episodes

It has dates, cast lists etc, which you have for John Macnab (shown 9.25-10.10pm).

Ellen Baskin & Mandy Hicken wrote “Enser’s filmed books and plays” (c1993) which only lists “The Thirty-Nine Steps” for John Buchan, filmed in 1935 (Hitchcock), 1959 & 1978.
