Peter:

I have no problem with that mode of dress. But I will see if I can borrow a Mirror dinghy and let my 10 year old daughter take the helm and sit back and watch. I am not sure how you will swim and hold onto the telescope after she turns us turtle (Aussie for ar?e up), and I fear you may drown but I am not your keeper nor mother.

Then again if you were my Son and you came dressed like that I would probably take you out and get you good and drunk and then let you walk off a pier into shallow water and then die happy.

As my ex- brother once did - he left our holidays and returned to Newcastle to have his interview for membership of the golf club. He also used to lock his wine cellar with a steel door.

But I suspect you are just pulling my leg.

I suggest you wear - a nice flannel shirt, (nice and warm) a jumpy wool as it stays warm when it gets wet and I will get you wet, and those funny wetskin boats. Geriant had a pair so I presume you can get them in England. I would also leave late May 2006 open for this adventure. And then you can walk into some lonely fell country and show me the other side of AR land. Of course I will bring my 10 year old along so it is her complaining not me about the distance.

We fathers are smart in our old age.

Grinning horribly like Roger (where's the chocolate)

John

And then I will buy you a pint in the Dead Crow or what ever the pub is called.
