Sorry to go on about this, but some people still appear to be confused about the CroW Act.
For example the reference to a "field". A field is "improved land" and by defnition falls outide the scope of the act which merely allows access to "unimproved land over 600 metres above sea level".
This in effect means mountain, fell and moorland, most of which is in the north and west of the country. Not fields.
