I was wondering, as I do from time to time, if the GN ever did nest in Scotland, so I asked the RSPB they replied;
" There have been isolated breeding records for remote places in Scotland but
I do not think these have been consistent in terms of numbers or sites.
Therefore, great northern diver is not considered to be a breeding bird in
the UK and has probably not bred here for some time."
So now I know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :)
