Tarboard has just woken up - at least the TPC has. Christina Hardyment cannot be a 'TARS', obviously, and certainly not a 'TAR'. 'TARS' is the acronym for 'The Arthur Ransome Society'. 'TAR' can only mean 'The Arthur Ransome'. CH, and many of us, are 'Tars', who are people - the handiest label for us, even though some of us don't sail. Yes, I know it is only a matter of capitalisation of letters, but these things matter in the TPC...
