Funny you mention Peter Duck pictures because although it is basically my least favorite story of the twelve, my favorite picture is "Swallow at Sea" where John is sailing and Capt Flint is lying flat with the gear. I can feel the rise and fall over the swells and the pleasure John must be feeling. It would have been a far cry from the so called lakes of England.
