Has any one picked up on any A.R. references in popular (or less popular song? My favourite is a line from the Grateful Dead 'Great Northern out of Cheyenne, from sea to shining sea.' can't remeber the title but its on the triple Live in Europe album I think.Thiscounts as centre bull for me as its a mention of an actual A.R. title and the G.D. are my favourite band.Other offerings that may fall short of the target include: 'My pirate days are over'by NANCY Chapin Carpenter, Amazon Grace, which also commemorates Nancy's piratical predecessor, Grace O'Malley, and Tarry,Tarry Night (sorry). Of course had A.R.been a rock fan and Chuck Berry writng rock and roll songs a few decades earlier,s.w. could have been subtitled, 'Johhny B. Goode. I'll get my coat.
