I felt especially priveleged to receive such honourabl;e mention in Brigit's speech, after having felt a bit left out of things, the internet activities of TARS seem to have created something beyond all imagination. Now the Web pages which I got going are self-expanding, as some other people have started to add on their own material.
I hope this ternd continues, I find my own energy starts to dwindle after a while and I want to turn onto something else. Anyway it wasn't all just me, there are a good 30 or so "core" TARS-Netters who have helped build all this up, thanks you lot; and thanks Brigit for all the kind words!
If anyone here has some web material which deserves a place in the AR Pages; especially photos of Ransome locations, please contact me. I will now stop gathering photos and scanning & palcing them myself since we'll get enough growth of the web pages through people linking fully-webbed material hopefully.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder whatever happened to Signalling to Mars? I am a believer in the maxim that if something is worth doing, someone will do it: maybe S2M has served its purpose. Doug didn't seem to attract any more articles than I did; so it sort of fizzled out really. I'd be happy to conclude that this Tarboard is capable of doing anything that S2M could manage.
