A 'real' adventure?

Driving a big tri at 20 knots in a storm in the Roaring Forties would be more than real enough for me.

I've sailed and loved sailing for 55 years, but it would scare me to sail that beast in good weather in my own familiar bit of the North Sea, let alone where Ellen has been.

And don't forget she started as a teenager by sailing on her own round the British Isles in a clapped out Folkboat she had bought with her own savings. Even that was way beyond my league, and I fancy most other peoples' as well.
