Was the Airport in Beijing/Peking the other institution (with Peking University) that retained the name Peking? Because of having an internationally used three letter abbreviation, starting with “P” I suppose.

PS: I confess to having owned a British built Ford Prefect & Ford Anglia (100E, with a backsloping rear window), and having learned to drive cars in a Ford Consul Mark I. But now my Ford Laser is a rebadged Mazda from Japan. My parents had an Austin Big Seven (they returned a Renault), a Ford Zephyr & a Vauxhall Velox, my father started on his father’s Model T.

PS: the spellcheck wanted to change rebadged to debagged!
