The airport is still PEK, true. But the name is "Beijing Capital International Airport" - they've opened a new terminal recently, I think at the same airport as before.

The three-character airport codes don't tend to change once they have been assigned. Mumbai is BOM for exmaple, and Chennai (Madras) MAA.
