“Primus” is referred to in ML as well as in SA, WH etc:
Chapter 5 about the shrine mentions Primus three times; and “Meta” presumably a trade name for the meths-impregnated cubes used to start the Primus (not liquid meths like our family Primus).
Also PM when D&D are on the houseboat; primus with a lower case P !
And of course WH as stated; when Captain Flint is glad that Susan not Nancy or Peggy has done the primussing! Primus as a verb.
