If my memory serves me correctly and it often does not, we have the British Banking Industry to thank for the invention of vegemite.

The British banks were not liked in the 1930's in Australia and so Marmite was taboo - there was a competition to find a replacement.

My Church at the moment has a ban on Taco Bell - which is not aproblem in Texas as there are many good Mexican Restaurants.

My daughter loves Nutella - it is to sweet for me. But did not AR teach us to love all sorts of people, sailors and non sailors. I even consider non sailors to be civilised people - well almost. Some of them, you could even be friends with.

(this is meant with humour ok - no flames.)
