Sorry - I misunderstood - I thought you were talking ripping the 10" plank into 1 x 3s or 1x4s, say, not ripping the 1x10 into 1/2 x 10. From the photos it looked like less than 10" planking. It might be worth seeing if your local real lumber yard (not the big box stores) could rip it for you. Failing that (and ripping across the width rather than the depth will be a bear, no matter how you try to do it), I'd say to scout out a good planer-joiner. Do any of the local schools have continuing ed. shop classes that would get you access to their wood shops?
