Just saw a reference to a quote by Charlotte Church (delightful singer from Wales) regarding a comparison of how her fans will accept her new album, either like it or hate it, somewhat like the way people come to feel about MARMITE.

Thanks to this forum, the concept of MARMITE is not a totally unknown. Once again, our persuit of All Things Ransome has led me to a better understanding of what Charlotte is talking about.
Amazing how educational it has been reading those delightful Children's stories that Ransome made for us. Little did I appreciate what I was about to learn as I started down that path a long time ago as I dug into SA for the first time.
