But at the start of Pigeon Post Titty told Mrs. Blackett that "we" (she and Roger were traveling together) got a letter from Mrs. Walker the day before they arrived at Beckfoot. That sounds like they were in the same school unless they were staying in town prior to catching the train north.
In Picts and Martyrs, Dick and Dot were in different schools.
