My source of information is the Jonathan Cape 1995 hardback edition.

Inside the front cover, before the Table of Contents:

"But who are the Big Six?" asked Pete.
"It's the Big Five reallyh," said Dorothea. "They
are the greatest detectives in the world. They sid
in their cubby-holes in Scotland yhard and solve
one mystery after another."
"But why Six?"
"There are only five of them and there are six
of us," said Dorothea.

Since the above is not in any particular chapter, it is not included in any of my TXT files, and therefore not showing up in any SEARCH.

Perhaps I should add the above brief text to my TABLE OF CONTENTS file to make it a part of the collection.

In my TXT files, I found NO references to "Big Five".

References found to "Big Six":

"Well," said Mrs. Dudgeon, "and how are the Big Six getting on? An arrest to be expected shortly?"
-----
"It isn't so much what you say," said Mrs. Dudgeon. "But I'd like my husband to hear the way you say it... And now let's forget all about it. Even detectives forget their work sometimes. It's only doctors who never can. Come along in now and let's see who of the Big Six has got the best appetite."
