I second the motion...

It reminds me of a situation some 65 or so years ago. The Luftwaffe had done their daily disturbance of architecture in London. Prime Minister Churchill was out, surveying the damage. He was looking at a pile of bricks which previously had been someone's home. The former resident was an elderly rather matronly lady. She was staring at this damage and saw him nearby. He saw her, and went over to her, and recognizing the loss she had suffered, he asked her, "What do you think we ought to do?" Her answer was simple, very British, and to the point. She said to him, "Give it 'em back!"

Amazing how those pictures of so long ago still stand out in my mind.

The Nazis planted the wind; they harvested the whirlwind.

Perhaps her advice is still worthy today.

For all my dear Ransome friends in that island, and to all of you on that side of the Pond, our hearts go out to you all, and our prayers as well.
