Having visited the Fram Museum in Oslo last summer, I'm interested in Nansen and the Fram. The Museum website (www.fram.museum.no) doesn't have a lot of photos on it, but there is website bringing together a collection of some 3000 photos/drawings/paintings - http://www.nb.no/baser/nansen/english.html
For example, in subject area choose North Pole and click on search. This gives 295 photos of this expedition including sailing sledges e.g. photo 72. It appears sometimes they still pulled them, with a small sail up to make it easier.
