That is 2382 Euros per metre or about 726 per foot (508 pounds per foot). A wooden canoe from the best US manuacturer is about 300 per foot or 1000 per metre. Our local restaurant has a nice wooden canoe in the window and the owner told me it cost 5,000 (About 2500 pounds).

The cost of the Mary Anne so far is 1 foot of 470 (250 pounds) or 2.5 feet of canoe. I am not even upto 1 metre.

Finally David said that a new mast for an Etchell is 9,000. (4000 pounds.) An new Etchel to world champ standards is about 80,000 or 35,000 pounds.
(How do you generate the pounds symbol on a US keyboard?)
