Surely that's deceit? The WSM would never agree to present the new 'Swallow' in such a way as to invite visitors to assume that it was the original, and TARS would not agree either. In any case, the fact that it was a replica would be spotted very soon by John's 5%, and the news would soon get round. John is wrong about the Museum welcoming the NS as a 'cash cow' - they would probably expect fees to be paid for storing and displaying her. The WSM is not well-off, and I have heard doubts expressed as to its long-term future. (If these doubts are unfounded, please could someone reassure me - I will be the first to cheer. It is always a fascinating place to visit.)
