I have read Coots in the North and it is good as far as it is. The problem is AR did not have sketched out a credible adventure. The idea of fishing for Char as the center piece of the story I think lacked credibility in his mind.

It is a pity that he did not consider the Galava fort and develop some form of archeology/salvage problem. Finding an old Roman something under the water and the Coots lifting it.
