We're grateful we don't get such monsters this side of the Atlantic, though on holiday in Wales once we did 'suffer' the effects of a depression that had once been 'Hurricane Charlie'. We spent a whole day inside a caravan being buffeted while there were torrential rains and winds outside. The next day all the sand had gone from the beach! As most readers/contributors to this site are outdoorsy people, sailing/camping and the like,-can I pose a question- Since the BBC has introduced those appalling new graphics on the post-news weather maps, is there anywhere where I can regularly see a daily isobar/weather front chart so I can track the systems crossing UK and make my own weather assessments? I know the shipping forcast contains all the relevant info, but I wouldn't want to sit and plot it out every day!
A web-page would be nice if someone knows of a link...
Thanks,
Andy.
