We have ourselves just come back from Secret Water, anchoring for three days in a creek near where they saw the seal. Not a single boat or person in sight - at least at low water - throughout an August Bank Holiday!

We did the North West Passage - Blackberry is no longer really an island but a line of isolated bits of marsh - saw a dozen or so of George's descendants, and at last found the North East Passage, very narrow but exactly as shown on the Map. Nancy and Peggy were brave to take a big dinghy through at neaps.

A complete contrast to the crowds which I have no doubt were on Wild Cat Island or at Horning this weekend.
