I read SA to my three children aged three, five and nine in short bursts while on a camping holiday. The youngest one's attention drifts in and out but he likes sitting with the older kids. Sometimes he gets up and goes sometimes he comes back but it's good to read to children, much better than plonking them in front of Nick Jr or Boomerang.

He also likes playing Cluedo with the other kids even though he hasn't a chance in hell of winning, he just likes doing the dice roll and making accusations!

In fact none of the kids have a chance of winning Cluedo because I am just too damn competitive!!!
