At the time I was reading Missee Lee, I was in Ninth Grade Latin class in Enid, Olkahoma. It made Missee Lee that much more believable. Latin really gave me an understanding of our own language which I still appreciate to this day. By the way, I blew off the Latin and wound up taking two years of Spanish, not much, unfortunatly, which stuck.
