Peter H, in message number 18693, says that TARS subs of £15 are "not a king's ransom". Here in Australia the overseas subs convert to $50, which is a whole different ball game. An Aussie dollar buys the same goods and services as a pommy pound. Given that, how many TARS would there be if the subs were 50 quid instead of 15? I get a lot of enquiries who go all quiet and shy when they learn that the subs are $50. To make matters worse, I have to ask AusTARS for a donation to help with the cost of postage, so that we can stay afloat. That they do so speaks highly of their generosity and enthusiasm.
David.
