Alan, very happy to meet you in cyberspace, but before we pop outside I would like to put a few questions to our readers.

As the broadband tide sweeps the world it is becoming more and more commonplace (without incurring any cost other than the Internet connection) to:
- exchange high quality voice messages
- exchange compressed video recordings
- attend international video conferences
- phone to any country
- videophone to any country.
How much of this is relevant to Tarboard? There is already a link to a film of AR himself on Dick's Pocket Book. Do we want to see what other Tarboardians look like? Do we want to hear them? Do we want to be able to see and hear them talking?

I for one can't wait to see Peter H in action pounding his keyboard in his study.
