I think that Malcolm Temple has misunderstood the purpose of the Club Hut. Some recent TARS events were very mystifying for many TARS, especially those overseas who don't get all the gossip and were expected to vote on matters when uninformed.
Many people, understandably, feel uncomfortable discussing TARS "dirty laundry" in public where non-TARS may get the idea that all we do is publicly wrangle, that would put off more people. Others have said that they didn't want to tell us overseas member's what was going on because they couldn't do it privately or they would if we phoned them up. Thanks!
Maybe we are creating an inner circle. Its called TARS members and Ian has decided to help us out at no cost to TARS. I hope that people will be able to write in confidence about any controversial topic without having everyone in the world know about it.
