John, I applaud the idea, but feel that the game in its current form might be a tad tedious for our younger members. Might I suggest a few optional rules, the "Warsaw East Variatiation", which could be adopted in the appropriate circumstances.
10. Extra points are available for picking up a local edition of any of
the SA Canon before returning home. If no local edition is available
then any book with demonstrable AR connections will do. Thus
"Fly Fishing for Beginners" would be perfectly acceptable, but "Fly the
Boeing 707 for Beginners" would definitely be out.
11. You can move East, but only by bicycle, steam train or sailing boat.
12. Double points can be obtained by travelling at least 10 miles
(16 kilometres) in a Crossley car; quadruple points if it is being
driven by a driver called "Nancy".
