It is always the case that Like John in SD - someone has to make a decision and some one has to be responsible? Are hierarchical decision structures the only ones that are viable. In SA Titty is left with with instructions to light the harbour lights. Her capture of Amazon is possible because she feels empowered to act on her own in pursuit of the group goal. In CC Tom Dudgeon breaks the law to save the coot's nest. In BS the representatives of the law are closing in on the innocent Coots and Dorothy has the guts to defy them. I think AR is trying to tell us something.
