There is little chance in summer of gliding gracefully along the Thames in a skiff. The are too many hullabaloo type launches there.
Few designers seem to make any type of craft that can go through the water without making a wash. Probably too much emphasis on usable space inside inside the boat.
The Salters steamers (now regrettably diesel powered) and the Andrews Slipper launches show how it could be done.
