Not all the old Salters Steamers are diesel powered:

    Alaska

    Streatley

    Nuneham

You can still glide peacefully along the Thames without having to learn to scull. (Note for Ed. You "scull", not "row" a skiff, unless you are only using one oar or sweep in whch case you "row.")
