David Carter in his TARS booklet AR's Railways has worked out that the GA would have left for Harrogate on the 2.18pm train to Carnforth. There she had more than half an hour to wait for her connection to Leeds. So, he says, "We may perhaps suppose that she used the wait to have tea in the refreshment room, a facility that was later to find fame as an important location in the film Brief Encounter"
